November is National Parent Engagement Month
Every year the state of Georgia recognizes the month of November as Parent Engagement Month, and schools across the state highlight the role parents play in a student’s education. For more information, visit the GaDOE website here.
In the upcoming months, Redan Elementary School will be hosting Title I Parent Engagement Workshops that we invite you to attend.  On December 15-16, 2015, the topic will be "Help Your Child Become a Better Reader and Strengthening the Home School Connection". On January 19-20, 2016, the topic will be "Understanding Your Child as a Reader and Understanding Reading and Lexiles".  On February 9, 2016, the topic will be Literacy Make and Take focusing on grades 3-5.  On February 25, 2016, the topic will be Georgia Milestones.  On April 21, 2016, the topic will be Kindergarten Transition.
